With one of the most versatile cross-device systems around, plus DVD and Blu-ray postal options, QuickFlix ought to work for you whatever your circumstance. However, whilst its streaming services offer excellent value for money its one-off payments for new releases are considerably more expensive than elsewhere.
This site has over 60,000 TV shows and movies available, which is an impressive number. However, not every movie is available in every format (digital, DVD or Blu-ray) so it’s certainly worth checking whether or not the movies you want are in the format you need. If you’re after a new release then you might wish to check other websites first, as Quick Flix isn’t always the cheapest option. However, they have a good range of movies to stream, including some top titles. At just under $10 per month, you can watch as many movies as you prefer for just a few more dollars than a single disc rental.
QuickFlix.com may appeal to users who have a poor internet connection and cannot download or stream shows. For a few more dollars a month you can have discs sent direct to your door, which is also useful if you have a laptop or mobile device which can play DVDs and Blu-rays. What is also potentially of interest to a number of customers is the news that quickflix is going to be made available on Chromecast. This is a small device that you can plug into your Smart TV, allowing you to access a wide range of channels on your home screen. In particular their new links with Xbox One and Freeview might be of interest, bringing a versatile range of viewing options to you when you're at home or on the move.
Whilst all of this is impressive, the site does little else to snare us. Membership features are relatively few, customer service seems average and pricing is mixed. We also don’t really see the point of the “combination” service, which allows you to stream movies or order them on disc. Maybe this is useful if you have a good connection at home but want to watch movies offline when you’re travelling, but it’s a peculiar option to us. Each to their own, though. If you think that Quick Fix's combination of disc and digital will be of use then it's something you often don't find elsewhere.
We feel that there are enough positives to make Quick Flix a place worth visiting. The range and quality of its shows are great, whilst the flexibility of its services set it apart from many of its competitors. If only they could add in a few membership bonuses and even reduce some of their prices a little it'd really help to seal the deal and we’d be happy movie-loving bunnies. All of these things considered we think it's worth your time to take a look at Quick Flix, particularly if you are looking for a digital service which offers disc options. Also they offer a 14 day free trial so you can test the waters without paying a cent.
